P.S. 57 Gates Campaign

During 2003/04 The 5th graders came to Ms Lockhart's class room each day
for an hour of campaign work.
1- They stuff and address envelopes which are sent to all NYC schools.
2- They have each written a letter to the Mayor.
3- They are creating their own website.
4- They conduct discussions with elected officials.
5- They have collected thousands of petition signatures and letters already.
